This great tree pic is before a wedding in Karnes City (where my dad's folks live) and right before we were going to see Kenny after an entire week of him in Haiti. So much excitement and really, for some reason, my kids love to take pictures by or in trees. I have trained them well, I guess. I love the look of each kid -- totally personifies that moment, and most moments in our house. Lydia is always ready to perform, Elijah trying to do the right thing but for some reason a sister always gets in his way, and Lanie, oh dear Lanie, always the trouble maker.
